"Travel isn't all about the destination. But who you travel with."
Being a global trotter and solo wanderlust, I came to a realization that accommodation and hospitality could totally change a travel experience. For the better or for the not-so-better.
Accommodation in Singapore can be quite pricey and for a thrifty traveler like me, every dollar counts. Hunted down this cool little place for $17/RM50 night and it was worth every penny spent.
Just a 15 minutes walk from Bugis Station, Bunc is conveniently located in the heart of Little India District and accessible to all main attractions you could think of.
With an approx. 1 hour direct shuttle service from Changi Airport to Bunc that costed only $9/RM27, night flights to Singapore isn't a concern anymore. Take note that night flights are most often cheaper too.
Booked this trip with Air Asia, paid a total of $130/RM395.39 [airfare + 3 nights stay]. Not the cheapest travel deal ever but for a last minute Christmas getaway, it was a bloody good one.

After a long day out and about, all I hoped for was some personal space to zen, do some editing, writing & listen to some music with a mask on my face. That's what I did. Showered, chilled with a beer in hand, put on my favourite Antipodes Honey Mask, replied to some emails, did some writing, planned for the upcoming month and basically relaxed till late midnight. Oh! Chatted with a guy from Hong Kong too!
I love how clean the place is and how homey it felt to me, in the heart of a traveler.
"Bunc. More than just a bed."
Recommend checking out Bunc if you wish to experience more than just a bed and would love to meet new people from around the world. Now go save yourself some cash. Happy Wednesday Love x
