"Keep Your Eyes on The Stars, and Your Feet on The Ground"

My roots have been bugging me so badly.
Thank goodness for the hair appointment last weekend.
Well-groomed hair and nails are the smallest things that uplifts and empowers me from within.
Personally, I realize it's the psychology factor that fires up my energy.
Ladies, am I alone on this?
Currently on our way to Bali x

Inspirational Monday

I want to create a life where the choice of making decision lies in my hands. Whether having street food or savouring a meal at Ladurée Paris Champs-Elysées. Whether it's cycling to work or go grocery shopping in a fancy sports car. Whether it's strolling at the park nearby or paying a visit to the Natural History Museum in London. Enjoy life and make decisions not based on affordability but solely a choice I choose to make. Giving myself financial freedom so that I could be present where life truly is. Not dollar and cents. F price tags.

Update: I've been diving into new areas out of my profession, increasing my net worth and finding someone to share life goals, aspirations and laughter with. Crawling through the final leg of February like a goofball because it's coursework week. Dealing with studies and backlog of blogwork. Also craving for a chocolate doughnut. How are you doing so far?

Fight strong. Stay humble.

Inspirational Monday

FEBRUARY 2017 marks the 27th month I've been in the corporate field as an internal auditor. In most cases, we deal with top management the most and people up there have fought for life, went through hardship and view things differently from a broader perspective. There is a saying: You are the average of 5 person you spend time with. Honestly true af. One thing I've learned from the baby boomers, was the importance of going an extra mile in all our endeavors.

Perform beyond expectations. If you only do what you're meant to do, darling, that's when you get a stagnant paycheck. In order to be successful in life, be observant, proactive and have the willingness to do more, think more, have a holistic perspective and go beyond the call of duty. Mum keeps reminding me, what is there for you to lose? Probably nothing. Being a 90s kid, we know the Big 30 is coming our way. Time to pass on the baton to the millennials.

We haven't been catching on sufficient snooze for the past 2 weeks. Now where's my pillow.
